Edwards Beer Cuzzis
Street Chopper Magazine 40th Anniversary Party went down at Henry's in Garden Grove. Grant and whoever helped, did an awesome job putting this together. Good beer, good bikes, good fun.Speedway Races in Costa Mesa Saturdays, and City of Industry Wednesdays! Old friend Nate was there with his raked out purple pan looking 70's style. Born Loser Pre unit was top notch and the OG Denver Choppers were cool to see.

Kicker Problem
After work today I opened up the trans to see what happened to my kicker. I had not cracked it open since I picked this up back in March. Turned out to be a pretty easy fix. My Tab washer was destroyed and left the the nut on the end of the main shaft to vibrate loose. So when I was trying to kick the bike over, the main shaft gear that connects to the kicker was spinning free. Going to pick up a washer tomorrow and get this thing cleaned up and back together.

Sleepy Sundays
Well I got the old pre unit pulling down the highway on Sunday. On the way to Cooks Corner, and my clutch cable almost vibrated loose. I pulled over off the 71 and adjusted and went to kick my bike and the kicker spun on me. It still would shift gears, but no kicker. Had the boys help me with a push start, and back on the road. Something was wedged where I couldn't upshift or down shift once in 3rd. I had to get off again at 1st exit off 91 from the 71. Gummy Zombie, Dirt Beard, and Meat-O ran it back and picked up a truck. The Pre-unit had enough for the day. All in all I can't complain, Pre unit motoring 90mph down the road and a Sunday afternoon nap in a shade covered parking space. Gotta Love it. Now time to open up the trans.

The Weekend
Love Cycles
Jeremiah from Love cycles came out from AZ yesterday to say hello. Brought out his latest creation complete with Max Schaaf tank. This thing is pretty sick in person. Love cycles is still turning out sick vintages bikes one after another, and we all know the good work Max is doing. Whoever bought this bike is going to be pumped! Style points and cool vintage parts.
